Color is slightly lighter than picture. There is a lot of stretch to the material. I’m using it to do a button tucked interior in a 77 Dodge van. I spray glued a muslin backing to the velour to make the button caps hold better. NI Vt step is putting he material over 2” foam
Purple Wholesale Velvet Fabric Stretch | 60" Wide
The backing on this stretch velvet is nice and structured which makes sewing it a dream. I've noticed minimal shedding during cutting and construction of the dress. The sheen is just like pictured, as is the color. If I ever need stretch velvet again, I will definitely be returning to ICE FABRICS. This vendor has moved up my list of fabric stores and will be the only place I get velvet.

I order numerous colors of the minky dot fabric for my hand made blankets and I absolutely love them. They are all very soft, high quality and the colors are beautiful and vibrant. This fabric is beautiful. It has gorgeous sheen and a wonderfully crisp feel, with a gorgeous drape.
The weave is opaque enough to only need the lightest of liners for any garment or with none at all for more voluminous skirts and dresses.

It's nice and long. Kinda soft. Not ideal for what I needed, but no fault of the material. I think it'd need a fair bit of maintenance to keep from matting tho

Beautiful colors but there is no stretch at all to this fabric. Not sure why they would call it that except that is does stretch your wallet when you have to buy something else to replace it.
